Municipal Council
The Council is the highest decision-making body in the municipality. The Council receives its powers from the local residents of the municipality in municipal elections. In addition to deciding on the municipality’s activities and finances, the Council promotes the direct participation of the local residents in the municipality’s activities and decision-making.
Municipal Executive Office
The Municipal Executive Office is responsible for the administration and financial management of the municipality and for the preparation, implementation and supervision of the legality of the Council’s decisions. The Municipal Executive Office oversees the interests of the municipality and represents it, exercising its official powers.
Live broadcasts of the Municipal council
All Municipal Council meetings are recorded, making it possible to watch the meetings both live or later, as a recording. Council meetings are also open to the public and anyone can come and watch from the gallery.
